Tomorrow's the big day, We finally go smoke free! I'm a non-smoker so obviously i think it's a fantastic idea, Hopefully it will mean less smokers .

Smoking will not be allowed in any public places e.g. Pubs, Restaurants, Schools etc. If anyone is found smoking in public places they will be handed a  £50 fine on the spot.

I want to hear everyones views, smokers and non-smokers, on what you think about Britain going smoke free. I'm actually a smoker but dislike smoking in restaurants and bars. I hate anyone smoking in my house. So on one hand I'm pleased. However I really don't like Government intervention in this way. It makes me angry. I think if people wish to run a smoking pub then they should be free to do so. I just don't like people infringing on private life even if I agree with the sentiment.
